  1. i HAVE A QUESTION THAT i HOPE U WILL ANSWER THAT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO YOU:
WHEN ERROR IS SPOKEN FROM THE PULPIT – WHAT IS THE PROPER WAY IT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED? SHOULD PASTOR BE STOPPED AND CORRECTED WHEN ERROR IS SPOKEN ? OR IN PRIVATE AND IS THE PASTOR THEN EXPECTED TO CORRECT HIMSELF TO THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION ONCE THE ERROR HAS BEEN VERIFIED? – i TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR REPLY – GOD BLESS U YOUR FAMILY AND GOD’S MINISTRY – AMEN!

    1. The Bible says “15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.” (Matthew 18:15-17). So the Biblical thing to do is to go to him first in person one on one, if he hears you, praise The Lord, if not take the remaining steps outlined in the texts above.

The Bible also gave an example where Jesus publicly rebuked the scribes and Pharisees, Jesus tried for years to reach the leadership, but the time had come to publicly rebuke them. Everything Jesus did was based on time, for our actions as well will have to be based on time.

  2. To the question that the person asked above.I think that is a Pastor or anyone made a error no matter where you are He/She should be corrected straight away not in a negative way . eg write a note and handed it to the pastor who is speaking. eg.or confronted in a jentle/ humble manner so he can correct as this can lead astray into more than what is meant/
so that it can be corrected ( not to disturbed him and the audience) but so everyone can leave with a clear mind of what the mistake/error was.

    1. thank u so much for your response – I reacted without thinking and blurted out “in what book” when pastor was quoting Ellen G. White about and I went on to say something to the effect that we are to study to shew ourselves approved and read for ourselves and not just accept everything that comes from a speaker’s mouth – he never came back with a book or page number I pray the Lord will bless me to do better when and if error is spoken again -God Bless!-
